Gavin McArthur Canamare

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Gavin McArthur Canamare, age 23, of Jefferson, who passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023. Mr. Canamare was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a son to Alex Canamare and Nicole Canamare of Jefferson. Mr. Canamare was a concrete technician with SGS Services in Lawrenceville. Gavin enjoyed boxing, listening to and making music, hunting and fishing, running, clothes, shoes and great food and taking naps. He loved the family dogs, Coco, Belle and Dixie, snowboarding, skateboarding or anything with a board. Gavin felt the most free and alive when he was out in nature and exploring. He loved making people laugh and smile and he was the best at it. Gavin loved to dance, especially with his family and had the best rhythm. He was an ambitious and creative person who loved meeting new people and he understood everybody. Gavin was the "Creator and visionary of 7Love", "He gave the best bear hugs and never let go first", "He loved the Lord as his anchor and rock, we are comforted knowing he is in the arms of Jesus"

Survivors include his parents, Alex and Nicole Canamare of Jefferson; sister, Ava Canamare of Jefferson, brother, Braden Canamare of Camp Pendleton, California and sister in law, Lorena Canamare; grandparents, Monica and Michael Canamare of Jacksonville, FL, Joe Croker of Rising Fawn, GA and Karmen McArthur of Lawrenceville; uncle, Bill Canamare and his wife Christen; aunt, Paula Castaneto; cousins, Ashlyn, Madi, Mallory, Allie Grace, Will, Cole, Kruz, Khloe, Sophie, Ashley and Sissy also survive.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 19th, at 1:00 PM on the family farm at 1331 Ebenezer Church Road, Jefferson, GA 30549 with Pastor Victor Summerour officiating. The burial will follow in the Evans Memory Gardens in Jefferson, GA. Gentlemen honored as pallbearers will be Braden Canamare, Ramsey David, Nick Boobas, Brooks Barton and Bailey Oakes. 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, at Evans Funeral Home in Jefferson.
