Eric Joseph Barnes

Eric Joseph Barnes, age 35, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Sunday, October 15, 2023. Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, October 16, 2023 at St. Michael Catholic Church. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Eric was born August 4, 1988 in Gainesville, Georgia. He was raised in Buford, Georgia and graduated from Buford High School in 2006. He spent many years in Colorado. He was an electrician by trade.

Eric loved his family and friends most in life and was always there for anyone who needed him. He will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor, kind heart and love of adventure.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ben Barnes; grandmother, Peggy Daly and uncle, Charlie Barnes.

Eric is survived by his mother, Peggy Green; father, Glen Barnes; sister, Taylor Green; grandmother, Joan Barnes; grandfather, Tom Daly; cousin who was like a brother, Andrew Barnes as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
