Jane Pruitt Brooks

Jane Pruitt Brooks, age 63, of Murrayville, GA, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Edith Pruitt; sisters, Vicki and Sandra.  Mrs. Brooks is survived by her husband of 28 years, Robert Brooks of Murrayville, GA; Son, Kevin Payne (April Anderson) of Murrayville, GA; grandsons, Kevin Payne and Ashton Payne of Murrayville, GA; step-children, and step-grandchildren; sister, Holly Odom; brothers, David Pruitt and Mike (Teresa) Pruitt; mother-in-law, Betty Brooks; brother-in-law, Steve Brooks; several nieces, nephews, and a number of other relatives. Jane was born October 18, 1959 in Buford, GA and was a graduate of North Gwinnett High School.  She was of the Baptist faith.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. 

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA, with Pastor David Pruitt and Rev. Mike Pruitt officiating.  Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home and again on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
