Edward Earl Harrison

Mr. Edward Earl Harrison, Sr., 78, of Buford, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023 at his residence following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Fabian Parker will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, October 9th from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Harrison was born on August 4, 1945 in Greenville, TN. He was retired from Foote-Davis. Mr. Harrison was a proud Veteran of the United States of America in the Army. Mr. Harrison was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Jean Hudgins Harrison.

Mr. Harrison is survived by his daughter, Sonya Maddox of Jefferson; sons and daughters in law, Scott and Laura Maddox of Braselton, Edward Earl Jr. and Cindy Harrison of Buford; grandchildren, Jessica Maddox, Chris Martinez, Christian Harrison, Cassandra Harrison, Steven Gower, Trey Gibson, Abby Allen; 11 great-grandchildren, special blessings, Marie Chance, Eddie McLocklin and a number of other loving relatives.
