Margarett Christine Allen

Margarett Christine Allen, age 80, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023.

Mrs. Allen was born on January 30, 1943, to the late Gordon and Fannie Ruth Bentley Wade.  She was a homemaker and a member of Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church.  In addition to her parents, Margarett was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Allen; and sisters, Dorothy Gearin and Sandra McCallister.

Survivors include her son, Steven Allen; brother, Tom Wade; sister, Velda Gerrells; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church.  The Rev. Bobby Ivester and the Rev. Paul Flynn will officiate.  Interment will follow in Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
