Psalms 23:1-4 NKJV
“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
Nikita Brandy, Mercedes, Wheeler, the only daughter of Valarie Wheeler and Jeffrey Scott Hillman Sr. was born on May 1, 1988, at Muhlenberg hospital, Plainfield, New Jersey. Nikita entered eternal life on Saturday, September 23, 2023.
At an early age, her family moved from Plainfield New Jersey to Suwanee Georgia, where she was educated in the Gwinnett County school system. Nikita graduated from North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee Georgia. After graduation Nikita enrolled in the associate degree program in Business administration at Gwinnett Technical College. She worked for several large corporations in the metro Atlanta area as a security officer and inspired to join the military before becoming disabled from an accident.
Nikita lived a minimalist lifestyle. She intentionally lived with fewer possessions, focusing only on her basic needs. She would say “I am looking for fewer distractions so, living with less is the right choice for me.” Nikita enjoyed poetry reading and writing it. She defined her poetry style as eclectic; a style that blends different styles together to create a unique message. She was a spiritual warrior who spent her younger years involved in many church activities, including speaking to the youth ministry from time to time. She was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Judah Israel Wheeler age six. No one can question the love Nikita had for her precious Judah.
Nikita was preceded in death by her grandfather Edward Wheeler, loving maternal great grandmother, Odessa Boston, and fraternal grandparents Mr. And Mrs. Hillman.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter Judah Wheeler, her mother Valarie Wheeler, father Jeffery S. Hillman Sr., two brothers Tiron Wheeler, Jeffery Scott Hillman, Jr., grandmother, Evelyn Hayes, three aunts Keima Wheeler, Bettye Perry, Brenda Grace Tutt, and a host of loving cousins and friends.
