Mr. Danny Diaz, 42, of Gainesville, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2023 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church. Father Roberto Herrera will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Memorial Park Funeral Home Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Friday, October 6th from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Born on August 22, 1981 in El Paso, TX, he was the son of Maria Guadalupe-Diaz. Mr. Diaz was of the Catholic faith.

Mr. Diaz is survived by his mother, Maria Diaz of Gainesville; son, Danny Diaz; daughters, Dezirae Diaz; son, Angel Mendez, David Diaz; daughter, Darliene Simental all of Gainesville; sister, Lizette Hernandez; brother, Luis Diaz; all of Gainesville; mother of his children, Maria Simental; sister, Gricelda Juarez; brother, Victor Hernandez all of Gainesville and a number of other loving relatives.
