Mildred Joan Adams

Mrs. Mildred Joan Adams, 83, of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2023 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Clyde Self will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 pm. until 2:00 p.m.

Born on March 27, 1940 in Murrayville, she was the daughter of the late Clint and Era Bell Gilstrap Villyard. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Adams and brother, Harold Villyard.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughter, Pamela K Adams of Gainesville; son, Tommy Adams (Jill) of Gainesville; brothers, Don Villyard (Martha) of Gainesville, Doug Villyard (Brenda) of Chestnut Mountain; grandchildren, Hannah Mullinax, Gretchen Hilderhoff; great grandchildren, Isabella, Noah; sister in law, Betty Jo Villyard and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
