Timothy "Tim" Robert Ledford

Mr. Timothy “Tim” Robert Ledford, 66, of Gainesville, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 at his residence following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Pastor Brian Stephens will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Born on February 28, 1957 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Ronald Lance Ledford Sr., and Margaret Wood Ledford. Mr. Ledford was retired from Orica INC. and was a member of New Holland Baptist Church. Tim was a fun loving son, brother, husband, father and a grandfather. He so much enjoyed being a jokester, hunting, golfing and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ledford was preceded in death by his in-laws, Clarence and Sue Suggs and grandmother, Cozetta Wood.

Mr. Ledford is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Yvonne Suggs Ledford of Gainesville; daughter, Chrissy Brooks and fiancé, Michael Mullins of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Jordan Ledford of Gainesville; brother and sister in law, Ronny and Kim Ledford of Gainesville; sister and brother in law, Jennifer and Spencer Tucker of Gainesville; grandchildren, Noah Smith, Kaylee Aycock, Karter Aycock, Kooper Ledford and a number of loving nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
