Joanne Perry Johnson

Joanne Perry Johnson, age 84, of Auburn, GA passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James Bowen Perry and Leila Mae Walden Perry; sister, Norma Jean Perry; brother, James Perry.  Mrs. Johnson is survived by her sons, Robert Johnson of Jefferson, GA and David (Rhonda) Johnson of Auburn; grandchildren, Justin (Vanessa) Johnson, Kelly (Kyle) Heflin; great-grandchildren, Cameron Johnson, Evelyn Johnson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was born on May 10, 1939 in Brunswick, GA.  Mrs. Johnson was a graduate of Glynn Academy High School and a graduate of Brunswick Junior College.  She was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and retired as a License Practical Nurse. Mrs. Johnson worked for a number of years at Glynn Brunswick Hospital.  She was a member of Sterling Baptist Church in Brunswick, GA.  Mrs. Johnson loved ceramic crafts and collecting Christmas decorations.
