Judith Ann (Fraser) Miller

Mrs. Judith Ann (Fraser) Miller, age 84, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on September 22, 2023.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth “Wayne” Stradley of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Kip and Kathy Miller; daughter, Allison Corrao; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her stepson’s and spouses, Nick and Lindsey Stradley and Kevin and Candace Stradley; sisters, Jan Cowan and Jane Peck and a host of other family and friends also survive.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Gainesville First United Methodist Church. Reverend Whit Martin and Reverend Jamey Prickett will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Judy was born November 11, 1938 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late John Wright Fraser and Bessie Mae (Reese) Fraser. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Miller and son, Brian Miller.

Judy graduated from Shawnee High School in Kansas City. She graduated from Kennesaw State University at the age of 43. She was very active in Choices Pregnancy Care Center for over 30 years, Family Promise. She was a member of Gainesville First United Methodist Church and currently Asbury Chapel Global Methodist Church. Around 1993 she started a grief support group for parents who had a child who had passed. This group is now called Compassionate Friends. She enthusiastically visited Orphanage Emanuel 5 times.

Judy was a wonderful sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family and friends. She was a dedicated Christian full of love and joy. She Walked the Walk and Talked the Talk, people could sometimes see Jesus in her twinkling eyes. She loved being called a Jesus Freak!
