Carrie “Ima” Mae Haney Clark

Carrie “Ima” Mae Haney Clark, age 100, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023. She was preceded in death by husband, Marvin Clark; parents, John and Ella Fraser Haney; sister, Annie Mae Wheeler and husband Ralph Wheeler; brothers, Allen and Mary Haney, W.C. “Dub” and Sue Haney, Jay Loss and Ruby Haney, Johnny and Willene Haney, Herbert and Lida Haney, brother-in-law, Everett Berry. Mrs. Clark is survived by children, Sam and Margie Clark of Lilburn, GA James and Judy Clark of Sugar Hill; grandchildren, Michael and Peggy Clark, Michelle Clark, Brandy Clark and Lacy Emmerling; great grandchildren, Derek Hoecherl, Connor Clark, Harper Emmerling, Clark; sister, Marie Haney Berry of Buford; brother, Jessie (Sara) Haney of Buford; sister-in-law, Wilma Claborn Flowery Branch, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Clark was born on April 17, 1923 in Buford, GA. She worked in the lunchroom in the Byron County School System, and she was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Buford. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. John Haney officiating. Interment will follow at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 30 from 11:00 a.m. until time for the service at 3:00 p.m.
