Bonnie Sue Haynie

Bonnie Sue Haynie, age 80, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023.

She was preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Lavonia Haynie; brother, Billy Joe Haynie; sister Betty Haynie Davis, brother-in-law Robert Davis; niece, Donna Shadburn; nephews, Billy Thompson and Calvin Chewning; and great nephew, Adrian Shadburn.

Ms. Haynie is survived by sister, Barbara (Douglas) Burel of Buford; nieces, Shirley Thompson-Chewning of Hoschton, GA, Debra Wheeles of Buford, Lara (LaRue) Cribb of Winston-Salem, NC, Jill Haynie of Asheville, NC; nephews, Wayne (Marie) Haynie of Social Circle, GA, Scott Douglas (Beth) Burel of Buford, Morris (Katrian) Shadburn of Claxton, GA; great nieces, Lauren Elizabeth Burel, Rhonda (Dee) Rylee, Allene (Michael) Scotina, Morgan Cribb; great nephews, Austin Douglas Burel, Greg Shadburn, Brett Bodin, Rodney (Melissa) Thompson, Dennis (Dana) Blankenship, Robbie (Carrie) Blankenship, Phillip (Alana) Shadburn, Graylon (Conner) Haynie, and Harrison Cribb.

Miss Bonnie Sue Haynie was born on May 3, 1943 and received her education at Sugar Hill School.

She was a member of Sugar Hill Methodist Church. Ms. Haynie was an avid Braves fan, and enjoyed Gospel music, Blue Grass singing, and Bingo! She loved people and lived a full life.  She will be greatly missed by her family.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Morris Shadburn and Rev. Lamar Hansard officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 30 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
