Obituary Date: Tuesday, September 26, 2023

Mrs. Sharon Rose Winburn age 68 of Gainesville GA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family after losing the battle with cancer.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, October 2, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Lovell will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour on Monday, October 2nd at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sharon Rose Winburn was born March 23, 1955 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Clarence P. Nantz and Vivian Ness Nantz. She graduated from New Haven High School in Indiana then attended Central Bible College in Springfield, MO and afterwards married Steven Sundell. Sharon excelled in her life goals to be a wife and mother and is well known for her cooking skills. She also faithfully served the Lord in many children's ministries including Bible Quiz, Missionettes, and Sunday School. She is was a member of the Assembly of God denomination, most recently at Brookstone Church in Gainesville GA. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Sharon enjoyed visiting gardens, motorhome travel and cruising.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Steven Sundell and sister-in-law Brenda Jacquay Nantz.

Mrs. Sharon Rose Winburn is survived by her husband, Mel Winburn of Gainesville, GA; son, Seth (Ashley) Sundell of Marietta, GA; son, Sheldon (Cassie) Sundell of Lexington, SC; son, Samuel (Abby) Sundell of Avondale Estates, GA; daughter, Sarah (Levente) Nagy of Auburn, GA; seven grandchildren, Cecelia, Dane, Ryleigh, Lily, Eli, Olivia and Eleanor; sister, Barbara (Magdy) Habeshy of New Haven, IN; brother, David Nantz of Atlanta, GA; brother, Daniel Nantz of Ocala, FL; brother-in-law Dennis (Sheri) Sundell of Ozark, MO; aunt, Elizabeth (Nantz) Morgan of IL and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
