Ralph R. Williams

Mr. Ralph R. Williams, 86, of Lawrenceville, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Cedarhurst of Oakwood with his family by his side following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Pastor Edward Chambers will officiate. Interment will be in Gwinnett Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:30 p.m. until the service hour.

Born on December 22, 1936 in Alto, GA, he was the son of the late Sloan Benson Williams and the late Myrtle Earl Williams. He was retired from Carpenters Union where he was an inside Finish Carpenter. Mr. Williams was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his daughter, Tonja Ann Williams; sisters, Aileen West, Marilyn Jarrard and brother, Sloan B. Williams, Jr.

Mr. Williams is survived by his daughter and son in law, Kathy and Bert Crawford of Shelby, NC; daughter, Vickie Jenkins of Shelby, NC; son, Delwyn Williams of Shelby, NC; son and daughter in law, Adrian and Angelina Williams of Lawrenceville; daughter and son in law, Melinda and Michael Price of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Kirsten Turner (Joshua), Jonathan Vernon Crawford (Amber), Derrick Jenkins (Amber), Lucas Williams; great grandchildren, Aly Turner, Jackson Turner, Grayson Turner, Aliah Jenkins, Jacob Jenkins; sister, May Belle Lee of Clermont; brother, Delwyn Mondell Williams of Oakwood. Mr. Williams is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Flowers will be accepted but those who wish may make contributions to Wauka Mountain Baptist Church, 6076 Ransom Free Road, Clermont, GA 30527.
