Bertha Patsy Mote Clark

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Bertha Patsy Mote Clark, age 85 of Statham, Georgia who entered rest Tuesday, September 26, 2023.  Mrs.  Clark was born in Cleveland, Georgia a daughter of the late Charlie and Lucy Nelle White Mote.  Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and a member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Clark is preceded by her husband Ernest Frank Clark, a granddaughter, Angie Kittle and a number of brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a son, Ernest Gene Clark (Darlene) of Nicholson, three daughters, Kathy Thurmond (Wade) of Royston, Brenda Parten (Royce) of Statham, Ann Thompson (Tim) of Elberton.  Twelve grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 29, 2023 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Booher and Dr. Jack Lawson officiating. The burial will follow in the Crooked Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren, will be honored as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at Evans Funeral Home.
