Benjamin Ryan Nave

Mr. Benjamin Ryan Nave, age 28, of Atlanta passed away Friday, September 22, 2023 after a lengthy battle with alcohol addiction that he was unable to overcome. He was reunited with his loving brother, Jacob, who we can imagine greeted him with the warmest hug and the biggest smile. He is no longer suffering, but instead he is enveloped in the pure and compassionate love of God and finally full of peace.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 1, 2023 in the Chapel at Memorial Park South.  Rev. Dave Channell and Rev. Jeff Crook will officiate.

Benjamin was born April 6, 1995 in Gainesville, Florida, however he lived most of his life in Northeast Georgia. He graduated from Flowery Branch High School and went on to obtain a Masters Degree in Accounting from Georgia State University, where he graduated with honors. Benjamin was a caring son, a loving and generous brother to his 5 younger siblings, and a friend to many. He enjoyed traveling, visiting well over 60 countries around the world, he enjoyed cooking, and spending time with his family, his partner and his dog, Duke.

Benjamin is survived by his parents, Jason & Cristy Nave; Partner, Daniel Gorsky; brothers, Caleb Nave, Luke Nave and Nathan Nave; sister, Abby Kate Nave all of Flowery Branch; Paternal grandmother & husband, Sandy & Robby Johnston of Jasper; and paternal grandfather & wife, Gary & Jerri Nave of Columbia, South Carolina.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Johnnie Waters, his maternal grandmother, Diane Maxwell, and his younger brother, Jacob Nave.
