Dwayne James Pugh

Dwayne James Pugh, age 60, of Auburn, GA passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, Randall Pugh and his brother, Darrell Pugh.  Mr. Pugh is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Stacy Greeson Pugh of Auburn; children, Brandon Pugh of Macon, GA, Amanda (Brian) Rankin of Monroe, GA, Lindsey (Cody) Quattlebaum of Macon, GA; step grandchildren, Brody Rankin of Monroe, Bryson Rankin of Monroe; mother, Matha Porter Pugh of Cleveland, GA, brother, Jeff (Mandy) Pugh of Winder, GA; sister, Misty Vanderhorst of Cleveland, Keshia (Dewey) Robbins of Cleveland; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and a special friend of family, Ronnie Runels of Lawrenceville, GA.  He was born on October 10, 1962 in Duluth, GA. and was a 1980 graduate of Dacula High School, Dacula, GA.  Mr. Pugh was self employed and sold peanuts and vegetables.  He was a member of Hog Mountain Baptist Church.  He loved fishing, hunting and enjoyed being “Santa Claus” every year.  Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.  at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA.  Interment will follow at the Trinity Full Gospel Church Cemetery, Cleveland, GA at 2:00 p.m. where Graveside Services will be held. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
