She was a farm girl raised in Kirkwood, Delaware.  She worked and retired as an executive assistant at the Dupont Company.  She was known for her hard work ethic.
After retirement, Anna and Ben relocated to Alabama to be closer to their children and grandchildren. She was an active member in her church, where she lived out the value of service hood. She was the Sunday School Administrator, Bible study teacher, and led the Women’s Society in the Methodist Church.  She had a passion for gardening, crafting, and letter writing. Most of all, she served as the matriarch of her family where she lent an ear and was always there to encourage her children and grandchildren.
