Jack Wilson

Mr. Jack Wilson, 83, of Gainesville, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville Campus.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Michael McIntyre and Mr. Rodney Clark will officiate. Interment will follow in Wauka Mountain Baptist church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on September 21, 1940 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Homer and Florence Anderson Wilson. He was retired from Con-Agra where he was a truck driver. Mr. Wilson was a member of Straight Way Baptist Church.

Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathleen Wilson; sons, Curtis and Ricky Wilson; brothers, Edward, Ranzy, J.D., Bill, Asbury, Rachel, Gene, and Clyde Wilson and sister, Ruth Carder.

MR. Wilson is survived by his wife, Ethelene Wilson of Gainesville; son, Tim Wilson (Darlene) of Blairsville; daughter, Karen Wiley (Kevin) of Clermont; daughter in law, Shirley Wilson of Tignal; brother, Junior Wilson of Clermont; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives.
