Wayne Schweitzer

It is with great sadness that we say farewell to our father and husband, Wayne Schweitzer

Wayne passed away quietly in his home in Sugar Hill, Georgia on September 15, 2023 after a brief illness.  His adult children, Wendy and Grant Schweitzer and wife of 50 years, Carla June Wilhelmi Schweitzer, were with him to the end.

Wayne was born on May 19, 1949 to Frieda and Henry Schweitzer in Elmhurst, Illinois. His four siblings; Arnold Schweitzer, Arlene Schweitzer Urbanek, Raymond Schweitzer and Elaine Schweitzer Sherson all preceded him in death.

He was owner and president of Schweitzer Group Inc. an engineering consulting firm in the Atlanta area. He later retired and enjoyed the relaxation of camping and traveling with his wife.

No formal service will be held at this time. He has been cremated and we will have a celebration of Life at a later date.
