Mr. Dan Stephens Tench, 67, of Gainesville, passed away, Friday, September 15, 2023 at his residence with his family by his side.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Bob Garrett and Rev. Ryan Watt will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Born on April 3, 1956 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late William Joe and Minnie Louise Boling Tench. He was employed with SKF Bearings for over 40 years where he was a mechanic. Mr. Tench was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Tench was preceded in death by his brother Michael and sister, Diane Loggins.
Mr. Tench is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Joyce Tench of Gainesville; sons, Dustin Tench (Leah) of Gainesville, Andrew Tench (Brittany) of Lula; grandchildren, Landon Tench, Lanie Tench, Lakely Tench, Lathan Tench, Hannah Tench, Elizabeth Tench and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives.
