Sandra “Sandy” Bryan

Sandra “Sandy” Bryan, 85, of Dawsonville passed away Friday, September 15, 2023.

Born June 4, 1938 in Atlanta, Georgia, she had lived in Dawson County since 1978 having moved from Marietta.  Sandy worked a number of years at the Dawson County Senior Center, worked at Champions Café, and formerly worked in the insurance field.  She enjoyed shopping, the beach, collecting glassware, going to yard sales, and she loved her dog George.  A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Phillip A. Bryan; son, Lance Browder; sister, Jerri Jones; brothers, Bobby Jones, Harold Jones, and Gene Brooks.

Surviving are her children, Allan Browder, Pam Elledge, Allyson and Clint Decker, all of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Lacy Browder, Kipp Browder, Justin and Brandy Browder, Savannah Browder, Dustin and Ashley Ingram, Slayter Haney, Valen Decker; great grandchildren, Ansley Browder, Jack Browder, Hadley Browder, Jasper Browder, Julian Browder; sister, Pat Brooks, Jefferson; and brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Lynn Jones, Lawrenceville.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 11 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Mike Owens will officiate.  Interment will follow in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home.
