Hayward Jesse Howell

Mr. Hayward Jesse Howell, 82, of Gainesville passed away on September 7, 2023.

A visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on September 10, 2023 at the funeral home.

Mr. Howell was born on June 1, 1941, in Ocilla, Georgia. He was the son of the late Claude E. Howell and Emily Paulk Howell.  Also preceding in death is Brother, Herman Howell, and Sister in Law, Betty Howell.

Mr. Howell was a custom home builder for over 50 years. He retired from the Hayward Howell Builders in 2010.

Mr. Howell is survived by his Wife of 62 years, Barbara Little Howell, of Gainesville, his daughter, Candi Howell Dorsey of Gainesville, son, Hayward Randall Howell (Sheri)  of Clermont, his granddaughters, Bailey and Tatum Howell, grandsons, Dylan Dorsey, and Blake Conner, Honorary grandchildren, Sheena and Chloe Larimore, Sisters, Frances Turner Beard (James), Nell Archer Bray (Ferrell), Brothers, Clarence Howell (Lucy) of Gainesville, Wendell Howell of Augusta, Georgia, brother in law, John Slater Little (Bonnie), also surviving are a number of nieces, and nephews.
