Ruby Pilgrim Lindsey, 87, of Hoschton, GA, died Monday, August 28, 2023. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 12 PM at Yellow River Baptist Church, Lilburn. Rev. Kevin Creasman and Rev. Mark Davis will officiate. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 11 AM – 12 PM at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to St. Jude at www.stjude.org in memory of Ruby. Ruby is survived by her daughter, Sherrie and husband Tom Cronin, Hoschton, GA; granddaughters, Kimberly Watkins and husband Richard, Statham, GA, Jennifer Williamson and husband Brian, Hoschton, GA; great grandchildren, Savannah Watkins, Titus Watkins, Hannah Williamson, Lydia Williamson, and Selah Williamson. Ruby was a native of Alabama but lived out her adult life in Georgia. She was an active member at Yellow River Baptist, an influential place for her life and the life of her family. Ruby was always smiling. She loved her family and friends, but, most of all, she loved her “Sweet Jesus,” as she would often call Him. Ruby had a way of making a room light up with her laughter, as she was always looking for a social event to have a good time. She lived her life devoted to Jesus and always pointed her family to the Lord. “Grandma,” as she was affectionately called, took great pride in her family, but most of all the 5 great grandchildren who brought her great joy.
