Rayburn Douglas Saine

Rayburn Douglas Saine, 63, of Ackerman, Mississippi died on Monday, August 28, 2023.  Doug was born and raised in the north Georgia mountains of Cleveland, Georgia.  Those who knew him knew how funny he was and how he always had a smile on his face.  No matter how tough the situation was, he always found a way to smile through the adversity.  He loved to fish, hunt, and garden. Doug was a loving companion to his wife, Sharon, for over 20 years.  He loved his family and helping others, but most of all he loved the Lord. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 1, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Wahoo Baptist Church.  Pastor Ken Anderson will officiate the service.  Pastor Mike Franklin will officiate the interment that will follow the service at Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Saine was preceded in death by his parents Floria Lee Ballard and Charlie Rayburn Saine; his sister and brother Reavonda Saine Lewis and Bradley Saine.

Mr. Saine is survived by his loving wife Sharon P. Saine; his daughters Katie Mincey (Judd), Elizabeth Bailey (Randell), Tracey Patton (Chris); his stepdaughters April Braddock (Chuck), Dena Penton (Thomas), his stepson Ronnie Wainwright (Stephanie); his brother and sisters Wesley Saine (Robin), Kathy Saine Farmer, Renee Helton (Jonathan); and many nieces and nephews. His pride and joy were his grandchildren Jordan, Ashton, Addy, Avery, Parker, Elijah, Drake, Taylor, and Lynleigh.  They meant the world to him.
