Robbie Butterworth Pruett

Robbie Butterworth Pruett, age 90, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Elbert Pruett; parents, Fletcher and Ferol Carter Butterworth; brothers, Norman, Carter, and Richard Butterworth.  Mrs. Pruett is survived by her daughter, Marianne (Reggie) Morgan of Buford; grandson, Taylor Morgan of Buford; sister-in-law, Doris Butterworth of Canton, GA; special caregivers, Donna Stowers of Cleveland, GA and Sarah Cowan of Dacula, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was born on March 10, 1933 in Gainesville, GA.  Mrs. Pruett graduated from Airline High School in Gainesville and retired from Wayne’s Furniture Company in Flowery Branch with twenty-six years of service.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Buford and a former long-time member of New Bethany Baptist Church of Buford. Mrs. Pruett was a member of the Silvertone Choir at First Baptist Church. She also worked for the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders and enjoyed working for Jim Puckett.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Johnson and Mr. Dale Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
