Mr. Larry Donald Grier was born December 4,1954 in Newton County, Covington, Ga to the late Anie Bell Taylor and Robert Grier. As he grew, he attended and graduated from Jefferson High School, in Jackson County.
In his community Larry was known by many and loved by all who knew him. Shortly after graduating high school, he began work in the poultry Industry. He worked in the poultry for many years and was very passionate about his job. In his pastime Larry loved music, singing, and dancing. He absolutely enjoyed laughing, having fun and spending time with his family and friends. While relaxing the liked to read, and he loved sports.
Larry was proceeding death by his parents, one older brother Robert Lewis Grier, two sister Sheila and Dudley, Sabrina Smith.
He is survived by three sisters Constance Banks (Sandord), Theressa Appleby (Wayne Banks), and Serene Smith all of Jefferson, Ga. A very special Aunt and cousin Mary Hubbard & Catherine Lay, and a host of cousins all of Atlanta, Ga. A host of nieces and nephews in Jefferson, Ga. As well as family and friends. Very Special Friends Fredrick Usher and Jane Banks.
The visitation will be held Saturday, August 26th between the hour of 11am-1pm at St. Paul Jefferson. Mr. Grier's Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 26th at the hour of 1pm. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
