Harvey Jack “Buddy” Stephens

Harvey Jack “Buddy” Stephens, age 52 of Nicholson, GA passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023.

Born on Dec. 9, 1970 in Tombs County, GA, Mr. Stephens was the son of the late Jack Stephens and Patsy Higgs Williams. He was a journeyman lineman with the IBEW Union and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Fortson Stephens; daughter, Heather Stephens; son, Tyler Stephens; sister, Deanne Bridges; brother, Eddie Stephens; nephews, Matthew Tidwell and Coley Purcell.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm Friday, Sept. 1, 2023 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walt Coley officiating. The family will receive friends 1 pm until the funeral hour Friday, Sept. 1 at the funeral home.
