Gregory Michael Barnett

Gregory Michael Barnett, age 48, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at his home, following a sudden illness.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, August 28, 2023 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel. Inurnment will be in Alta Vista Cemetery.

Gregory was born September 14, 1974 in Atlanta, Georgia. He has resided in Gainesville, Georgia for the past 35 years. He was a member of Smyrna First Baptist Church where he was baptized.

He is the son of Carol Craven Barnett and the late Dwight Lee Barnett. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, A.B. Craven and Addie Lou Craven, and Levi H. Barnett and Ann Hendrick Barnett.

He was employed with City Plumbing and Electric and Home Depot.

He is survived by his mother Carol; daughters, Bethany Renee Barnett and Stephanie Danielle Barnett; and the mother of his children, Amanda Leigh Barnett. He is also survived by a number of family and friends.
