James Patrick Morris

Mr. James Patrick Morris, age 85, of Nicholson, GA died Monday, August 14, 2023 at his residence.  Mr. Morris was born in Hall County to the late James Dillard and Annie Lee Ferguson Morris.  He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and was a retired electrician with University of Georgia.

Mr. Morris is survived by his wife, Doris Poole Morris of Nicholson; sons, Ronnie Morris (Dottie) of Cornelia, Timmy Morris (Rhonda) of Lula, Michael Morris (Tracey) of Cornelia, Terry Morris (Teresa) of Maysville, Mickey Poole (Stefanie) of Nicholson and Rickey Poole (Michele) of Athens; daughter, Glenda Meeler (Randy) of Nicholson; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, September 2 at Gillsville Baptist Church with Pastor Shannon Rhodes officiating.
