Glen D. Miller

Glen D. Miller, 75, of Cumming went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 19, 2023.

Born February 20, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Norman and Florence Miller, he had lived in Forsyth County for the past 26 years having moved from Douglas Co.  Glen has been employed by AT&T for 54 years and currently served as a manager.  He was a member of Concord Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday School teacher, Bible Study teacher, and was a U. S. Army veteran where he served as a 1st Lieutenant in Vietnam.  Mr. Miller was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving are his loving wife of 39 years, Deborah Miller, Cumming; children, Teresa and John Tinsley, Gainesville, Glen, Jr. and Teresa Miller, Suwanee, Edward and Melissa Miller, Kennesaw; grandchildren, Bryce and Lauren Miller, Devin Herron, Jasmine Chandler, Jackie Chandler, Jason A. Chandler, Jr.; sister, Norma Carboni, Philadelphia, PA; brother, David Lee Miller, Philadelphia, PA; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 11 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Dr. Scott Gilbert will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
