Edward Lee Hibbard

Edward Lee Hibbard, age 83, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Diane Roger Hibbard; daughter, Pam Hibbard; son, Edward Lee Hibbard, Jr; grandchildren, Kirsten Hibbard and Liam Edward Erwin; sisters, Paulette (Dennis) Bradley, and Brenda Bass; and brothers, Bill (Gladys) Hibbard, and Carl (Brenda) Hibbard. Mr. Hibbard was born on December 24, 1939 in Batesville, Arkansas, and he was a veteran of U S Air Force. He graduated from Lyon College, aka Arkansas College, with a Bachelor’s Degree, and he retired after twenty-eight years with Delta Air Lines as a pilot. Mr. Hibbard enjoyed riding and repairing bicycles as well as hiking and traveling. He also loved studying geology. No formal service is planned.
