Shiney Varghese

Shiney Varghese, a beloved mother and friend with a career spanning 26 years in the pharmacy of various hospitals, passed away on August 10, 2023, in Atlanta, Georgia.  She was born on March 9, 1973, in the quaint town of Kangazha in Kerala, India.  Shiney’s journey from her humble beginnings to her professional accomplishments in the United States touched the lives of many.

Shiney was an exceptional daughter to Varghese Karot Iype and Leelamma Varghese.  She was a devoted sister to her brother, Shijo Varghese.  She also embraced the role of a remarkable mother, nurturing her daughter Marella Abraham, with unwavering love and dedication.

Throughout her career as a pharmacy technician, Shiney’s commitment and skill earned her a reputation as a true professional.  She was a familiar face in both Florida and Georgia, where she gained the admiration and respect of her colleagues and the community alike.  Her compassion and expertise left an indelible mark on the lives she touched.

Shiney’s kindness, warmth, and radiant smile created a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.  Her legacy will continue to inspire and bring comfort to those who remember her.  Her passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will forever be cherished.

A viewing to pay respects and honor Shiney’s life will be held at Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, Georgia, on August 16, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  Following the viewing, a burial and service will take place at Sugar Hill Cemetery from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Shiney Varghese’s legacy will live on through the memories she created, the lives she touched, and the love she shared.  In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in her memory to a charity close to her heart.
