We find ourselves heartbroken and in disbelief, as we share the devastating news of the loss of a beloved daughter, sister, and friend - Hayley Sanchez. At just 19 years old, Hayley’s life was tragically cut short the weekend of August 5, 2023, leaving a void that will forever be felt by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by those who loved her most including her mother, Michelle; father, Bobby; sister, Rosy; and brother, Ethan.
Hayley’s story reflects a silent struggle that many young Latinas across our country face, often battling it alone and without solace. It's a heart-wrenching reality that we should aim to address and change through collective support.
Hayley attended the West Hall School system and graduated from Lakeside High School and had dreams of owning her own business - a Cat Cafe called Catpuccino Cafe. Those who knew Hayley knew of her caring nature, inviting personality, her ability to bring confidence in others, her fun spirit, contagious laugh and her desire to help each person she met. She never met a stranger and had friends from all walks of life. She wanted to make every cat and dog her pet. Hayley was a light to this world and we are so heartbroken that the world is now a little dimmer.
