Joyce Ann Brown

Mrs. Joyce Ann Brown, 83, of Homer, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Dr. Shannon Rhodes will officiate. Interment will follow in Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Friday, August 11th form 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on February 19, 1940 in Dahlonega, GA, she was the daughter of the late John Elbert Sayne and Myrtle Dowdy Sayne. She was retired from Wayne Poultry.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Brown and great grandson, infant Clay Brown.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her son and daughter in law, Johnny and Janita Brown of Homer; daughter, Stephanie Brown of Homer; brother and sister in law, Larry and Brenda Sayne of Gainesville; grandchildren, Crystal and Shannon Daves, Brandon and Courtney Brown, Faith and Ben Winstead; great grandchildren, Emily Daves, Alli Daves, Zoe Brown, Zac Brown, Jaxson Brown and a number of other loving relatives.
