Anthony "Andy" Earl Grigg

Mr. Anthony “Andy” Earl Grigg, 68 of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023. 

Mr. Grigg was born August 17, 1954, in Gainesville, Georgia to Bill Grigg and Millie W. Roper. Andy was a self-employed Steel Detailer Architectural Designer. He was passionate about his craft. He designed the helical staircase at Carroll Daniel Construction building in Gainesville among many other brilliant designs throughout his career of 50 years.  In his free time, he loved being outdoors and taking his jeep for a ride through the mountains with his wife. He also enjoyed camping, hiking, trout fishing and playing skillfully on his guitar.  He was preceded in death by his father Bill Grigg, mother-in-law, Lorraine Bell, father-in-law, J.P. “Cuz” Bell and brother-in-law Robert “Billy” Page.

Mr. Grigg is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sheila Bell Grigg, children, Joe & Krystal Talley of Cleveland, Austin & Kim Talley of Cleveland, Leigh & Josh Little of Gainesville and Alex and Michele Grigg of Gainesville.  Grandchildren, Scott & Kelsey, Wes & Alyssa, Noah, Dallas, Tarin, Devon, Kealey, Alyssa, Mason and Cannon, Benjamin. Sisters, Cathy Page of Gainesville and Cindi & Lee Barett of Gillsville.  

The family will host a gathering of loved ones and friends on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:00 pm at Cha Cha’s Event Center 5522 Hwy 129 South Unit C Cleveland, GA 30528. Lance Stinespring will officiate. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help cover expenses.
