Donald Wesley Kent

Donald Wesley Kent, 67, of Cumming passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

Born February 7, 1956 to the late Ollie and Mary Kent, he was raised in Crabapple and had lived in Forsyth County for the past 20 years having moved from Dahlonega.  Mr. Kent retired as an automobile body technician.  He possessed an adventurous spirit and enjoyed fishing, prospecting, and driving in the mountains.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Debora Kent, and stepson, Michael McClung.

Surviving are his sons and daughters in law, Jason and Tishia Kent, Cumming, Marc and Andrea Kent, Lakeland, FL; stepson, James Snee, Cumming; grandchildren, Drew Kent, Payton Kent, Mason Kent, Emma Kent; great grandson, Wesley Kent; sister, Gail Kent; brothers, Larry Kent and Dennis Kent; 5 step grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 4, 2023 from 4 until 8 at Bearden Funeral Home.
