Doris Jackson Mauldin

Doris Jackson Mauldin, age 83, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, Kenneth Mauldin; parents, Fred and Martha Jackson; sister, Kathryn Stanfield; brother, Edmond Jackson.  Mrs. Mauldin is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Mauldin Perry of Columbia, TN; son, Kenny (Jane) Mauldin of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Zeb McCurley, Sareya (Scott) Kidd, Adam (Emily) Mauldin, Andy Mauldin; great-grandchildren, Sidney McCurley, Jonas McCurley, Liam Kidd, Eli Kidd; sister, Dorothy Jackson Cole of Sugar Hill, GA; brother, Fred (Kathi) Jackson of Hartwell, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was born on December 17, 1939 in Woodstock, GA and was a 1958 graduate of Okeefe High School.  Mrs. Mauldin was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation as a road inventory specialist with thirty-four years of service. She was a member of Shadowbrook Baptist Church, Suwanee and loved spending time at the beach.  Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Robert McCurley officiating.  Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park, Sandy Springs, GA.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
