Denese K. Phillips

Denise K. Phillips, age 70, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Canner; mother, Jeannene Miles; brother, Dana Canner; sister, Darlene Canner.  Mrs. Phillips is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Steve J. Krom of Lawrenceville; daughters, Penny (Eric Jones) Kerruish-Jones of Maine, Pam Fields of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Nataniel Kerruish, Connor Fields, Morgan Fields; step-father, Jimmy Miles of Dallas, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of friends.  Mrs. Phillips was born on September 6, 1952 in Beech Grove, IN and graduated from Ricker High School in Tallahassee, FL.  She retired from Atlanta Gas Light/Southern Company after eighteen years of service as a project leader.  In addition, she was also self-employed for fourteen years as a typesetter.  Mrs. Phillips loved crafting, creating stain glass, and horticulture. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Lamar Holley officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 P.M. and on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital in memory of Denise K. Phillips.
