Thomas “Tommy” Bruner

Thomas “Tommy” Bruner, age 53, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Jerry W. Bruner.  Mr. Bruner is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Jenny Bruner of Suwanee; children, Ashley Bruner, Caroline Bruner; father, James Bruner of Sautee Nacoochee, GA; brother, Tim Bruner of Lilburn, GA; father-in-law, James Roggen, in Panama City Beach, FL; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mark and Carol Roggen of Portland, TN; nephews, Alex (Kate) Bruner and Joshua (Kimmie) Bruner; great-nephew, James Bruner.  He was born on October 9, 1969 in Atlanta, GA.  Mr. Bruner was a 1987 graduate of Parkview High School and a 1993 graduate from Lee University with a Bachelor Degree. He was employed with MingleDorff’s Inc. in commercial sales in heating and air for the past twenty-eight years.  Mr. Bruner was a member of Sugar Hill Church in Sugar Hill, GA.  He loved fishing, hunting, watching sports and was an avid Georgia football fan.  He also enjoyed golfing and cooking.  Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Sugar Hill Church Chapel with Rev. Bobby Linkous officiating. The family will receive friends at Flanigan Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cure SMA (www. CureSMA.org) or Sugar Hill Church, Sugar Hill, GA in memory of Tommy Bruner.
