Wade Brookshire

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Wade Brookshire, age 59 of Pendergrass, Georgia who entered rest Monday, July 24, 2023.  Mr. Brookshire was born in Winder, Georgia a son of the late E. L. “Smokey” Brookshire and Sara Smallwood Brookshire of Pendergrass.  Mr. Brookshire was a 1981 graduate of Jefferson High School, enjoyed racing, camping, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.  Mr. Brookshire was the owner of Joe Dirt Hauling.  In addition to his father, Mr. Brookshire is preceded by his wife Kimberly “Kim” Adams Brookshire, and a brother, David Brookshire.

Survivors in addition to his mother are his children, Ashley Hopper (Shane) of Winder, Tiffany Wheeler (Jamie) of Jefferson, Stephany Eubanks (Zach) of Commerce, Blake Brookshire (Melissa) of Hoschton.  Brothers, Norman Brookshire (Kathy) of Commerce, Duane Brookshire (Helen) of Oakwood.  Eight grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 28, 2023 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Arlene Smith officiating with burial to follow in Evans Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home.
