Wilma Faye Gill Davis, age 73, passed away on July 20, 2023. Faye was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Known for her generous spirit, Faye loved spending time with her family. She especially adored watching the entertaining antics of her two great-grandsons. A hair stylist by trade in her early years, Faye also served others by providing in-home care for the aging. Faye cared for her clients like family and left a positive impact on their lives and the lives of their families.
In her later years, Faye relished in the simple pleasures of life including watching the birds while sitting on her front porch. She loved a good Hallmark movie, keeping a garden, camping, and trips to the beach. Faye loved the Lord and looked to Him for strength. Her family and her congregation cherished her, and she will be sorely missed.
Faye was preceded in death by: Mary Walden Gill, mother; William Ray Gill, Sr., twin brother; Kurtis Leon Davis, son; William Ray Gill, Jr, nephew; and much beloved cousin, Rosemary Harbin. She is survived by her son, Scott (Susan) Davis; grandson Ashton (Bethany) Davis, granddaughter Morgan (Brian) Farmer, two great-grandsons, nephews Jerry Gill, and many cousins and friends.
