Sarah Helen Hogan Bagley

Sarah Helen Hogan Bagley, age 88, of Buford, GA passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Mrs. Bagley was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Maron V. Bagley; parents, Lee and Minnie Bruce Hogan; daughter, Janice Helen Bagley; son-in-law, Jimmy Ray Watts. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Bagley Watts of Buford, GA, Lisa Bagley Hunter and husband Neal Hunter of Buford, GA.; grandchildren, Weston (Jenny) Brand, Chase (Alston) Hunter, Rachel Watts, and Cole Hunter; great-grandchildren, Madison Brand, Karli Brand, and Paetyn Brand. Mrs. Bagley was born August 31, 1934, and graduated from Sugar Hill High School in 1951. Sarah met her husband Maron in the second grade and were sweethearts from then on. They were married 69 years when he passed. Sarah taught private kindergarten and work in kindergarten for Gwinnett County schools for 37 years. She loved working with children and children loved her. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother and nana, who is loved beyond words and will be missed very much!
Mrs. Bagley was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, Buford, GA.  A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, July 23, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Satterfield officiating. Interment will follow at Sugar Hill Cemetery, Sugar Hill, GA. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
