Carol Ann Lersch, age 75, of Cleveland, entered rest on Monday, July 10, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Jesus outstretched his hand for her to join him in Heaven. She is now blessed with peace and comfort. Carol was full of life and loyal to all. She fiercely loved her devoted husband through their journey of life together. Her life was blessed with four daughters and a continued and passionate love for her grandchildren.
Carol was born on August 24, 1947, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Spring Hill) to the late Leo and Anna Stiglich Nau, she was born and baptized into the Catholic faith. As a young girl, her love and devotion for the Lord would grow stronger and would be an intricate part of her life. Carol attended St. Ambrose Grade School and Holy Ghost High School and later in life would become a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Leo Nau.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Dale Lersch; daughters and sons-in-law and their children; Shari Lersch (Ibrahim Shabir), Sebastian; Sally Kornick (David), Zachary, Steven, and Gregory; Sarah Holley (Jason) Madison and Mary Grace; Sandy Antonio (Matt), Camden; sisters, Anice Bukoskey, Deborah Funk; brother and sister-in-law, Fred Nau (Mary Ann).
A memorial mass is scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, July 15, 2023, at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church. Father Fabio Alvarez will officiate. A reception will follow the service.
