Dora Ellean Coley

Mrs. Dora Ellean Coley, 93, of Gainesville passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at New Horizon’s Limestone following an extended illness.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023 in Alta Vista Cemetery. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate.

Born March 29, 1930 in Habersham County, GA, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Myrtie Ferguson Tench. She was retired from the City of Gainesville where she worked in the kitchen. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Coley was preceded in death by her husband, John Bryon Latimer and sons, John Arthur Latimer and James Lee Latimer.

Mrs. Coley is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Shelia and Joseph Miccoli of Gainesville, Jonletha and Randy Brown of Gainesville and a number of other loving relatives.
