Carrie Elizabeth “Sue” Reed Farr

Carrie Elizabeth “Sue” Reed Farr, age 73, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Jack Farr; parents, Clyde and Loyce Davis Reed; sister, Kay Reed; brothers, Jimmy Reed, Wesley Reed, Lonnie Reed, and Timothy Reed.  Mrs. Farr is survived by her daughters, Kaitlyn Farr of Buford GA, and Courtney Maddox of Auburn, GA; sisters, Sandra Reed Thompson of Dacula, GA, Sheila Reed Maddox of Auburn GA; brother, David (Debra) Pierce Reed of Suwanee GA; sister-in-law, Sara Lee B. Reed of Buford GA, Rita Cleghorn Reed of Jefferson GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Mrs. Farr was born on July 10, 1949 in Buford GA and was a 1967 graduate of North Gwinnett High School.  She retired from AT&T Lucent Technologies after 30 years of service.  Sue attended Christ Place Church in Oakwood, GA.  Sue loved gardening, flowers, crafting, and studying the Bible. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Boone Strickland officiating.  Interment will follow at the Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. when the Funeral Service begins.
