Mr. Forlaw was born July 27, 1946 in Raleigh, North Carolina to the late William Robert Forlaw, Sr. and Phyllis Raymer Forlaw. His greatest accomplishments were rearing two boys who are now wonderful husbands and fathers, being a loving and faithful husband to his wife, Maggie, for almost 46 years, and being “Bops” to his three beloved grandchildren; Riley, Will, and Fletcher. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving 3 years stationed in Athens, Greece and retired after 27 years with the State of Florida Department of Probation. A faithful fan, in good times and bad, of the FSU Seminoles and Los Angeles Dodgers. It was his joy to volunteer daily at the library of Lakeland Christian School, which he did for 14 years. After moving to Gainesville, Georgia in 2014, Bob and Maggie joined Christ Place Church and sang in the choir and were active in Bible Fellowship classes. Bob and Maggie went on a mission trip to Portland, Oregon in 2018 and shared Jesus in the streets of that city with a wonderful team of fellow CPCers. In 2019, they went on another mission trip, this time to London, England.

Mr. Forlaw is survived by his wife of 46 years, Maggie Jordan Forlaw; sons & daughters-in-law, Ben & Danielle Forlaw and Adam & Jess Boulet Forlaw; grandchildren, Riley, Will, & Fletcher; and sister, Phyllis Mahin.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Missions at Christ Place Church and the Good Samaritan Food Bank.
