James Edward Pirkle

James Edward Pirkle, 79 of Flowery Branch, GA passed away Monday, June 26, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his mother & father, Carrie & Benson Pirkle of Buford, GA; brothers, William, John, & Larry Pirkle; sisters, Marie & Anne Pirkle of Buford, GA. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Frances Pirkle of Flowery Branch, GA; two sons, Dwayne (Michelle) Pirkle of Ball Ground, GA & Derrick (Brittany) Pirkle of Inman, SC; two daughters, Connie (Kenny) Redding of Canton, GA & Peggy Pace of Dallas, GA; brother, Noah Pirkle of Flowery Branch, GA; sisters, Frances Holman of Jefferson, GA, Lillian Daniels of Lawrenceville, GA, & Jean Scott of Chattanooga, TN; five grandsons, Brian, Will, Christopher, Noah, & Nash; four great-grandkids; and lots of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Pirkle was a Vietnam Veteran.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Memorial Park South Chapel with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Rev. Charles Shadburn & John
Vadner will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, June 30, 2023 and 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
