Steve Jackson

Mr. Steve Jackson was born August 23, 1947, in Dahlonega, GA to Cora Ware Jackson and Pete Bush. He peacefully passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at his home in Gainesville, GA after a short illness. He is preceded in death by his mother Cora Ware Jackson, his father Pete Bush and his brothers Ernest Jackson, James Bond, Eugene Bond, Perry Bond, Richard Ware, and Major "Dick" Ware.

Steve moved to Gainesville at an early age and joined Rucker Memorial Baptist Church. He later joined Antioch Baptist Church in 1985.

He leaves to cherish his memories wife Mrs. Maggie Jackson, Gainesville, GA; daughters: Ms. Pamela Kindred, Mrs. Paula (Jerome) Williams, Mrs. Tendai (Das) Buffington, Ms. Tonya Hayes; sons: Mr. Stevie (Sarah) Jackson, Otis "Baldy" (Tammy) Millsap; 20 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren, sisters: Peggy Duke, Melissa Bell and Connie Bush-Shinuald and a host of nieces and nephews.

The visitation for Mr. Jackson will be held on Saturday, June 24 at 12noon at Antioch Baptist Church. The Celebration of Life will follow at the hour of 1pm at Antioch Baptist Church. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
